Heat can be a few things. Firstly, the protector may make you feel a bit warmer but should in no way make it unbearable. Secondly, the mattress itself, if it’s a memory foam mattress they can be warmer for some people. Adding a wool overlay to your sleeping environment can go along way to cooling you off. And last but in no ways least, a duvet can be the culprit especially if it’s a down duvet. Feathers are excellent insulators, so when you couple that with foam that can reflect your heat, you have a recipe for overheating.

just got a new bed and put the mattress protector on it.. its so hot!! i cant sleeep i am sweating.. helllp

my sister is also suffering from Asthma and she is using Inhaled glucocorticoids to relieve the symptoms.
